Mommy or Daddy Day Care

Having the opportunity to provide day care for other kids is something that almost all parents can do. It is a very profitable venture and it would be an enjoyable one especially for parents who naturally love kids.

But check in your own country as there may be governmental regulations to ensure safeguarding of children.  Such process may involve document processing for license and permits, which depends upon the regulations on such things in a specific state, playthings, books, CDs, movies, art supplies and other things to keep the kids entertained as well as the premises you will be using and your own personal historical or criminal background checks.

A lot of parents are in need of day care services and having all the needed license and permits will help a SAHP to be noticed by other parents in the neighbourhood. Through top quality services, news will definitely spread like wildfire and the SAHP will surely benefit from the free yet highly effective word-of-mouth advertising.

But if you need to top up that word-of-mouth advertising, you may have to reach out to social media to broadcast your services online too.

Mystery Shopping

Earning money from unconventional jobs is the next best thing. How to earn money as a SAHP (stay at home parent) is not a mystery anymore. First on the list is being a mystery shopper or what others call a secret shopper. Someone is hired by a company to evaluate different aspects of services in a specific shop by pretending to be just another customer.

The mystery shopper is given the basic information about the store and they are given a list of evaluating points such as the time it took before they were greeted by an employee, how long the service took, how clean the shop is, whether or not the employees adhered to specific company standards such as dress code, greetings, and signage, and the name and description of the employee or employees who served them.

After the store visit and after the list has been accomplished, the list will be submitted to the company with the receipts attached to it. Expenses will be reimbursed and agreed payment for the service will be paid. Payment may be received as early as one week after the evaluation sheet and receipts were received to as late as two months.

Mystery shoppers are usually hired to try services of different restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and resorts. It is an ideal job for SAHP as they can have fun while earning.
